I was born in Edinburgh, raised in Fife, moved to Glasgow age 18 to study and have been answering questions about my accent ever since.
I am passionate about health and wellbeing and have worked in this field for the last twenty years.
Highlights include working as a Herbal Dispensary Assistant, making herbal medicines and learning about supplements and helping launch two Complementary Health Clinics in Glasgow.
In 2004 I made the decision to become a massage therapist myself and to be honest I have never looked back. On qualifying I became a tutor and external examiner for a massage school and greatly enjoyed doing this until the demands of running my own clinic took over.
Becoming more aware of the toll poor physical health took on the mental health of my clients lead to me studying for a BSc in Health and my subsequent training as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer.
I absolutely love both my jobs and everything they stand for. Feeling physically well helps you feel mentally well and vice versa. I consider it a hugely rewarding privilege to be involved in helping my clients achieve their goals for their own wellbeing.
